My mom made up this terrible blog... So now I have to make up something random... I now will write about how Valentine's Day came to be, since today is Valentine's day. So, a long long time ago, the Roman's celebrated this weird feast of Lupercalia, that happened on February 13-15. So on this day, Emperor Claudius II executed a man named Valentine who was making a secret marriage. Emperor Claudius banned marriage because he thought that single men made better soldiers. The Christian Church made this holiday on mid-February to "Christianize" this holiday. Later, Pope Gelasius made this a holiday in honor of St. Valentine. Even though this holiday is related to love, the story is weird and bloody.
