League of Legends: The lore of Thresh and Lucian 

"You are to be placed in the vault of corrupted and magical artifacts." said the leader of the order. "What?!' replied Thresh, "You want me to be put underground with many dangerous and corrupted items? This is unfair...". "I know you can since you have a strong-will, you are chosen to be the guard" said the leader of the order, picking his nails, obviously not caring.
Thresh stepped into the dark chasm, with the glow of the vault lighting around him. Hey, he thought, this is not too bad... He would just stay here and watch out, nothing bad would happen, right?

One week later.

Thresh stood at the mouth of the vault, he looked at his reflection. He saw a skinny, gaunt, hollow, man. He felt bitter and fearful. What are these artifacts doing to me, he thought, I feel so numb. Suddenly, he decided to check the vault for himself. He walked in, and saw many gleaming evil objects, in the vault. He tested them by torturing the living artifacts. Once he scratched the living mirror, full of memories, until it was opaque so the man's memories were trapped in darkness. Then he polished the mirror, and did it again. He always did evil things, and did them again, just for the fun of it.

One day later.

As Thresh opened the vault, he saw a warlock, looking fearfully at the artifacts. Thresh tortured the warlock, realizing that the warlock had healing powers. He wore chains, and tortured the warlock, with no mercy. He dragged his drains around, to torture the man with the sound of torture.

One month later.

Suddenly, he heard a roaring sound, and rushed outside to see what it was. It was a great wave, that was making everything to a state of undeath. He laughed, as he knew this was him time to be a new person, to be the monster everyone knows. He looked down at himself, he was a evil being with a lantern and a chain. He smiled.

5 years later.

"C'mon Senna!" said Lucian, as he dashed through the dead beings, firing his lightslinger at every direction. "Coming!" replied Senna, firing her gun and killing the last monster. "Phew, where do want go next.-, suddenly he was interrupted by a loud scraping of chains. "Who was that?" meekly replies Lucian. Suddenly a great monster, of green essence, lantern and chain in hand rose around them. "I'am Thresh." said Thresh. "And I will kill you.". "Never!" shouted Senna, as she dashed toward Thresh. But before the first bullet could come out, Thresh threw out his lantern, trapping Senna. "NOOOO!!!" said Lucian. He threw all the energy his lightslinger had and ran. "Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo." laughed Thresh and ran away. "I will get you back, Senna." cried Lucian.
